Consanguinity

A shinyapp for the Krummhörn

This is an shinyapp demonstrating the functinality of my {kinlab} package for R for analyzing data from the _Krummhörn_ family reconstitution study.

Consanguinity, fertility and offspring survival

The historical population of the Krummhörn was highly stratified according to socioeconmic groups. While the socioeconomically privileged farmers do generally have a higher probability of having at least one grandchild documented within the stationary part of the population, this reproductive advantage seems to be further increased within consanguineous unions.
